As an artist, she really works to uplift queer and female creatives and stories. Focusing on new works and reimagining stories that explore complex characters and relationships. As a Shakespeare nerd she really loves getting to tell these stories in new and challenging ways that connect with younger audiences. She also loves to tell stories that are rooted in history and give voice to characters who have struggled to have a fair story told. Trust that she will always have the best Spotify playlist in the rehersal room!
Abby Grantham (she/her) is a queer female director/producer based in NYC. She loves breathing new life into classic human stories in ways that aim to uplift queer and female voices within the world of theatre! She is most drawn to Shakespeare and adaptations. With a special passion for building community within theatre and a love of immersive and site-specific productions. Her most recent projects include directing Flight Plan with Daisy Theatrical as a part of the BLOOM Festival and Good Boy with Strangegirlzz's Summer Play Festival. She also collaborates with playwright Pablo Ceja as a co-producer with Lobsters International.
